I’m lucky, because I’ve met some very courageous people in my life, like Tommaso Mastrandrea from Il Giornalino, Giovanni Cristini at Mursia, Franco Lostaffa of Disney. Thanks to them I published my first drawings the year I finished high school.

It’s not true!

I’m not that old!

I was born on the 4th June, 1957, in Brianza, a green area in Northern Italy, in a big and fantastic family.

At present, I live in Milan in a house with a garden and real trees.

 
I have been collaborating with Il Giornalino (San Paolo) since then. Besides “Raffa per Te”, about DIY and advice to my readers, I’m the illustrator of another rubric in Il Giornalino: «At the Oratory». On this double page I have to organize the space which I’d forgotten how to do. On both these rubrics I love experimenting with Photoshop layers and filters. Lastly, I work for supplements of the series “Conoscere insieme”, about different aspects of friendship and adolescence and a first approach to Art. Thanks to don Antonio Tarzia’s esteem, some of these supplements have also been published as books.
